The Auburn Public Library is dedicated to the promotion of lifelong learning, personal and professional enrichment, and a love of reading. The Board of Trustees and Library staff strives to ensure free, equal, and confidential access to all collections and informational services, to maintain the Library building, and to anticipate and prepare for future library service needs in the Auburn Community.

The mission of the Charlton Public Library is to provide free and open access to the citizens of Charlton to the accumulated wisdom of the world.
