There’s something magical about fall at the farm—the crisp air, the crunch of leaves under your boots, the smell of apples and cider, and, of course, a little bit of good old-fashioned farm fun.

Starting September 12th and 13th, Stowe Farm officially kicks off its Fall Festival season with a weekend packed with family fun, live music, farm activities, delicious food, and plenty of reasons to stay awhile. The festival continues on Saturdays, Sundays, and Columbus Day through November 8th, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

🍁 Something for Everyone

Whether you're bringing the kids, gathering the whole family, or simply looking for the perfect excuse to soak up a gorgeous New England fall day, Stowe Farm has you covered.

Take a stroll through the orchard and pick your own apples, find the perfect pumpkin, visit the animals, or let the kids burn off some energy at the Kid's Corral. The farm's fall activities include a playground, petting zoo, pig races, the Turkey Trot, golf cart rides, and more.

And yes—there will be plenty of adorable farm friends to meet! Goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, miniature ponies, donkeys, ducks, bunnies, and more are waiting at the Kid's Corral. Kids can even feed some of the animals with grain provided with admission.

🚜 Opening Weekend Is Going to Be a Blast

The Fall Festival's opening weekend on September 12th and 13th is bringing some extra excitement.

Get up close with the farm equipment during Touch a Tractor, watch the Pig Race followed by the Turkey Trot, and let the little ones enjoy balloon twisting from 12–3 PM at Rodeo Roundup.

Then settle in for live music from Dacia Biello & Emma Healy on Saturday and Scott Savoy on Sunday, with performances running from 1–4 PM.

In other words: tractors, animals, balloons, music, and fall fun. What's not to love?

🎢 Keep the Good Times Rolling

Opening weekend is only the beginning.

Every fall weekend brings new live entertainment to the farm, with performances scheduled throughout the season. Grab a seat, enjoy the scenery, and let the music become the soundtrack to your fall afternoon.

And when hunger strikes, you're in luck.

Stowe Farm's Buck N’ BBQ serves up favorites like burgers, hot dogs, Philly cheesesteaks, sausages, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, and grilled cheese. The Bad Apple Saloon is also open for adults looking to enjoy a refreshing beverage while taking in the farm atmosphere and live music.

πŸ₯§ Don't Leave Without a Stop at the Country Store

Fall isn't complete without a few treats to take home.

Stowe Farm's Country Store opens for the season on opening weekend and will be stocked with homemade goodies including apple pies, apple crisp, pumpkin bread, apple cider donuts, caramel apples, cookies, jams, jellies, fudge, and more. You can also pick up bagged apples if you'd rather skip the orchard picking.

Consider this your official permission to eat dessert before dinner.

🍎 Make a Fall Day of It

The best part about Stowe Farm's Fall Festival is that you don't have to choose just one activity.

Pick apples. Find a pumpkin. Feed a goat. Race a pig. Ride around the farm. Listen to live music. Grab some BBQ. Let the kids conquer the playground. Then stock up on cider donuts before heading home.

That's a pretty great fall day.

So grab your flannels, round up the family, and get ready to make some autumn memories.
